ACCME Policy on Commercial Support mandates that the content of accredited activities be objective and free of commercial bias. The intent of this policy is not to prevent faculty, presenters, speakers, authors and reviewers with a potential conflict of interest from making a presentation. It is intended that any potential conflict of interest should be identified openly so that the listeners may form their own judgments about the presentations with the full disclosure of the facts.
